Islamabad : on Wednesday , Prime Minister Imran Khan giving an interview to CNN International Becky Anderson said PM Khan if you really want to achieve Peace in Afghanistan and you are really interested than you should raise your voice against act of Taliban which should ban Women to play Cricket even any sports for women are prohibited.
She more add that i grew up watching you as a hero playing cricket now Afghan Taliban do not allowed their women cricket team to play cricket you should convince taliban or stand against them.
During the interview at his residence Bani Gala Imran khan's Residence , Imran Khan talked about various issues including the developing situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s role in maintaining regional peace and Islamabad’s relationship with Washington taliban captured whole Afghanistan ETC.
Imran Khan’s Stance on women’s rights:
When PM Khan asked whether he supports the Taliban’s treatment of women, especially excluding them from sports, PM Khan said: “I feel very strongly that it is a mistake to think that someone from the outside will give Afghan women their rights and afghan girl are very strong [because] Afghan women are strong. Give them time, and they will get their rights.”
